You have a lot of options when it comes to caring for your dog, but we know exactly what puts us at the top of those options for our loyal clients!
At Indigo Ranch, what could be a lonely, sad stay away from home becomes a sleep-away camp with lots of new friends--that alone can take the anxiety away from leaving your baby.
Couple that with the fact that 100% of the profits go to support the lifesaving work of Indigo Rescue, and your dog's stay with us becomes completely about friends who NEED friends.
From the minute you leave your dog with us, we'll get them settled in to their own dens, put their things away for them and start introducing them to the other campers in their group! From that moment on, here's what a typical day looks like:
We adhere to best practices in the industry, with caretaker-to-dog ratios that meet or beat those standards. We have contingency plans in place for emergencies like injuries or illness--we even have plans in place in case there's a wildfire in our vicinity!
We have a live-in resident to ensure overnight safety, and to provide late night potty breaks! And no one is ever out and unsupervised. As predominantly an animal rescue organization, animals are our priority whether they are yours, ours or nobody's!
In our quarter century of working with dogs, we've never met a dog that cared about how fancy a home was. They care about feeling secure, feeling loved, and having fun--All the things we focus on at Indigo Ranch Boarding.
And here's something we're really proud of... unlike the vast majority of boarding facilities, we are happy to take care of your dogs with special needs such as disabilities (blind, deaf, missing limbs), medications or special diets. Talk to us about specific needs and we'll tell you if we can safely accommodate them. We are also able to give special attention to insecure or "quirky" dogs--something we are more than familiar with after working for a quarter century with rescue dogs. If your dog requires separation for behavioral reasons, we can sometimes accommodate that as well, although there may be an additional charge because of higher demand for individual staff time and resources.
You don't need to bring anything but your dog's collar, food and, if necessary, medicine. In fact, we encourage you not to bring anything else as we can't guarantee they'll come back in one piece! Dogs, out of their element, sometimes destroy things they never have before, and there's always the danger of a favorite toy getting toy-napped by a pal without us knowing it. If you still believe it is in the best interest of your dog to bring these things, however, we will do our best to preserve their belongings.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
The hours for drop-off, pick-up, and phone inquiries are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., available every day of the week.
$50 for a 24-hour (One Overnight Stay)
$45 for Each Additional Dog from the Same Home
*Note: We do not charge you for an extra day if your dog is picked up later than noon the following day. We charge by the night, not by the hour.
Cancellation Policy
Because bookings are scheduled according to space available, cancellations that are made fewer than 48 hours prior to your dog’s scheduled stay will be charged for one night.
VISA, MASTERCARD & DISCOVER ACCEPTED
Now come the formalities! We need to have some information so we know who you and your dog/s are, and that everything is safe and legal. We really like it when you can get these requirements to us ahead of time, but, for sure, be sure to bring them with you to your tour.
The booking process is easy--register and fill out a couple forms on line (or we can help you in person if you'd rather,) book an introductory visit and a temperament evaluation, and set up a drop off time. Start the process here...
